The work that I do is centered on Black children and communities, how systems shape us and our identities, and education.
A Brief Bio
Tiffany is an education and policy professional, and an emerging researcher and writer focused on Black global history, family history, and sociology and systems. She has taught in various classroom settings, worked at national policy organizations, and learns through travel and experiences. Tiffany earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Spanish from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Education Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is from Charlotte, North Carolina.


Passion for Education
Tiffany has worked directly with children and families in the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School program as a classroom teacher, coach, assistant site coordinator, and trainer. Tiffany also taught in Bogotá, Colombia as a Fulbright scholar and has supported research efforts on universal Pre-K in New York City. Her expertise spans practice, research, and policy in early care and education systems, racial equity, child well-being, technical assistance, and project management.
